FANFARE AND FESTIVITIES MARKED OPENING OF NEW EYEGLASS WORLD LOCATION IN OCOEE
Ocoee Residents and “Mayor Scott” Attended Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony at Grand Opening of New Location for National Eyewear Retailer
OCOEE, Fla. – Jan. 12, 2008 – Eyeglass World (http://www.eyeglassworld.com), a leading national eyewear retailer that offers quality, selection, service and fashionable brand names at affordable prices, invited local residents to the grand opening celebration for their new store in Ocoee, Fla. on Saturday, Jan. 12. Festivities at the opening of the new store on West Colonial Drive included a ribbon-cutting ceremony with Ocoee Mayor, S. Scott Vandergrift, known locally as “Mayor Scott,” as well as complimentary food, sunglasses giveaways and distribution of gift bags filled with discounts from Eyeglass World and other local businesses.
The new 3,800-square-feet location will feature more than 2,000 brand name frames in the latest eyewear styles and designs from brand names such as Nike, Gucci, Donna Karan and Calvin Klein. A full time optometrist is available on-site for eye exams, prescriptions and even Lasik eligibility screenings and post-operative appointments.
Known to residents as “The Center of Good Living,” the city of Ocoee is located in central Florida’s Orange County, approximately 5 miles west of Orlando. The new Eyeglass World store is located next to the West Oaks Mall and provides Ocoee residents with an alternative to high-cost eye care and eyewear by offering a friendly, helpful, knowledgeable staff and a wide selection of the most popular frames.
